Wolfram|Alpha is a computational knowledge engine

What computing power have we gathered in these facilities for launch day? Two supercomputers, just about 10,000 processor cores, hundreds of terabytes of disks, a heck of a lot of bandwidth, and what seems like enough air conditioning for the Sahara to host a ski resort.

This thing is going to take over the world.

Holy Crap. WolframAlpha is my new religion.

The red carpet that Brad, Francis, Quentin, and myself will walk on…no big deal
My cousin Helen is documenting her internship at the Cannes film festival. So great!

Simon Schubert is a German-born artist whose two-dimensional works are created entirely by folding sheets of paper… Yes, no pen or pencil, just folds!!
I have a hard enough time drawing rooms in perspective, I am completely amazed by all of these.  Check out even more of his work here.

wow this is beautiful.

Too many facebook invites!

Is it too much to ask for people to not send you facebook invites to events in other cities? I recieve so many invites for events at my college (in Baltimore) and there’s just no chance I would ever be in attendence. Not because I don’t care, or I don’t like the person - I just don’t live there.

No, I do not plan to attend the Students for Choice Rally on the main quad this Friday. I live 200 miles away!

Is there any way to filter out these events or unsubscribe or something?
