Today, somewhat unexpectedly, I got kind of depressed about still not having a project. This grew into getting kind of depressed about my lacking in two big project-related areas: skills and interests.

My main interests are things that I’m good at (skills). My main skills are…..nothing. No skills. No languages or instruments. No remarkable art abilties, sportyness, or bookishness. No collections, no pets.

Eva - I totally feel your pain - I think this is why I resorted to making beaded necklaces as a child (requires no skill) - but clearly you have skills: humor and writing are two that i can detect from this post alone.
